A temporary traffic control project will be implemented at the intersection of Broadway and Walnut. This project will temporarily close the median, preventing left turns and crossings at this intersection.
Due to a recent increase in accidents at this intersection, we are taking these precautionary measures to enhance safety. We will monitor the effects closely. The intersection will be open again later this year to gather additional data following completion of the Hwy 25 Mississippi River Bridge Project. We will evaluate the need for any long-term changes.
