The City Council held a regular meeting on Monday, June 23. Here are the highlights:
- EAB Update: The City’s Parks Department continues to inspect Ash trees for Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), marking over 250 trees for removal so far this summer.
- Water Treatment Plant: A Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) has been contracted for the project, in effort to expedite project delivery, identify cost-saving measures, and enhance quality control for the project.
- Expanding Parking Downtown: The City Council approved a contract with Bolton and Menk, Inc. for engineering services for the expansion of a public downtown parking lot.
