Monticello proudly offers the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program to members and non-members.
Learn-to-Swim classes are taught by certified, knowledgeable, and caring instructors who can help swimmers at every level feel comfortable in the water and progress at their own pace.
Each session includes six 45-minute lessons.
MCC Members $75; Non-members $90
Each session includes four 45-minute lessons.
MCC Members $132; Non-members $184
*Individual sessions with six 45-minute lessons are priced at $198 for MCC members and $276 for non-members.
Registration for Spring Swimming Lessons begins on March 18 at 8 a.m. for MCC members and March 20 at 8 a.m. for non-members.
As the temperatures rise above freezing, the outdoor skating rinks at both 4th Street and West Bridge Park are now closed for the season.
Indoor Open Skate is still available at the Moose Sherritt Ice Arena. Entry is included in a Monticello Community Center Membership during designated Open Skate times; entry costs $6 for non-members. Ice skate rentals are $3 per pair, cash only. Read more at the Indoor Ice Arena page.
Did you know the MCC has an indoor walking track? Located above the gym, the walking track is free and open to the public during regular business hours. Visit the webpage to learn more!
The City of Monticello’s Spring Tree Sale is back, offering discounted trees to help replace trees lost to infectious diseases in our community. Quantities are limited and orders are filled first come first served. Order by April 20!

Help Monticello bloom! Sponsor a Planter and help keep our community colorful -- no gardening required! For $100, your sponsorship covers the cost of flowers and maintenance. Sponsorships receive a "thank you" sign in the planter.
The Monticello Community Center offers Homeschool Swim, Climb, & Gym times for learners that need movement and fun outside of their learning.
