The City Council held a regular meeting on Monday, March 24. Here are the highlights:
- Compost Facility Opens April 1 – Open daily from 7 AM-8 PM through Nov. 30. Residents need an access card—request one per property. For more information: MonticelloMN.gov/336/Compost-Facility
- Economic Development in 2024 – The City’s Economic Development department gave its annual update, including redevelopment projects, senior housing, and local business improvements.
- Grant Extension for CR 39 West Utility Extension Project – The City secured a 12-month extension on a grant to support sewer and water expansion in northwest Monticello. Read more about the project: MonticelloMN.gov/669/CSAH-39-West-Utility-Extension
