The Parks, Arts and Recreation Commission develops and reviews plans for the acquisition and development of parks and recreational facilities, develops recreation programs, reviews parkland dedications for new subdivisions, and makes recommendations to the Planning Commission and City Council.
Parks, Arts and Recreation Commission members are each assigned to monitor parks and serve as a liaison between the community and the City Council on park issues.
